Project Manager

Work Type: Part-time (3-4 days per week), 6-month contract

Shalom Collective is a Sydney-based non-profit creating contemporary Jewish experiences – this role is a hands-on opportunity to help design, deliver, and grow meaningful programs that strengthen culture, identity, and community.

Responsibilities:

Program Design & Delivery

  • Support the design, planning, and delivery of educational, cultural, and community programs – from start to finish
  • Contribute to concept development, program briefs, run sheets, and logistics
  • Ensure programs align with Shalom Collective’s strategy and brand

Program Coordination & Leadership

  • Coordinate timelines, team members, volunteers, and suppliers
  • Lead specific programs or components when required
  • Act as a public-facing representative at events, supporting participants and speakers

Innovation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Contribute ideas, new opportunities, and partnerships to strengthen Shalom Collective’s programs
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with partners, facilitators, and suppliers

Evaluation, Systems & Engagement

  • Assist with program evaluation, feedback collection, and impact tracking
  • Maintain accurate records in Zoho to support reporting and marketing
  • Support participant recruitment and provide content for e-newsletters
Who we are looking for:
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills
  • Clear, confident communicator with great attention to detail
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities
  • Interest in community-building, culture, and non-profit work
  • Experience or study in project management, events, education, or community programs (preferred but not essential)
