Get ready to play, explore and connect Jewishly!

 

Wendy from Shalom Collective Young Families is coming back for the third time to the ACT for a weekend of fun-filled experiences designed especially for families with young children. From playgroup to a Shabbat story walk, songs, storytelling, Havdalah crafts, every experience is filled with opportunities to laugh, learn, and make special memories together.

 

Whether you’re looking to meet other local families, introduce your child to Jewish traditions in a fun and meaningful way, or simply enjoy a relaxed morning out, our Pop-Ups are a welcoming space where everyone belongs.

 

Come as you are, bring your little ones, and discover the magic of learning, playing, and connecting together.

 

Bookings are essential – we can’t wait to share this weekend with you!

    Playgroup

     

    Let’s play, learn, and grow together!

     

    Playgroup is a welcoming space where babies, toddlers, and preschoolers + their grown-ups can enjoy engaging activities, make new friends, and experience the joy of Jewish life.

     

    Through play, music, stories, and creative exploration, these sessions are filled with laughter, learning, and connection.

     

    Time: 10-11:30am

    Ages: 0-5 (Children need to be accompanied by an adult)

    Cost: FREE

    Tickets: Please book a ticket for all children and accompanying adults that will attend.

     

     

    Shabbat Story Walk & Kabbalat Shabbat

     

    We are excited to bring our immersive Story Walk to the ACT.  Explore the story of creation as well as the beauty and meaning of Shabbat through an interactive story walk for the whole family.

     

    This will be followed by Kabbalat Shabbat song and story time as we welcome in Shabbat.

     

    Time: 4:30-6pm

     

    Ages: 2-10 (Children need to be accompanied by an adult)

     

    Cost: FREE

    Saturday, 25th July 2026

    Havdalah Pyjama Party

     

    End Shabbat surrounded by community, laughter, and light. Our Havdalah Pyjama Party invites young families to come together for a cosy evening of beautiful rituals that mark the new week.

     

    We will serve dinner for the kids, and they will craft their very own Havdalah set to take home.

     

    Designed to inspire connection and belonging, this special celebration is filled with warmth, wonder, and moments the whole family will treasure.

     

    Time: 6:15-7:30pm

     

    Ages: 2-10 (Children need to be accompanied by an adult)

     

    Cost: $10 for children (includes dinner) | FREE for adults

    Stay and Play

     

    Stay & Play is a relaxed, welcoming space where babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and their grown-ups can explore a variety of engaging activities, sensory experiences, and creative play at their own pace.

     

    It’s a wonderful opportunity for children to play freely while parents and carers connect, share, and build friendships within the community.

     

    Time: 9:30-10:30am

     

    Ages: 0-6 (Children need to be accompanied by an adult)

     

    Cost: FREE
