Community Cook-Up

cook up

Join us for a hands-on afternoon of cooking, connection, and community care.

The Adamama Community Cook-Up is a gathering for young adults to come together in the kitchen and prepare fresh, nourishing meals for people in need in our wider community.
Together we’ll cook, pack, and prepare meals that will be delivered the same day to Jewish House, who will distribute them to individuals and families accessing their support services.
Alongside the cook-up, we’ll also share a simple lunch together on the day — part of the experience of cooking, connecting, and sitting around food as a community.

What to expect:

  • A relaxed, social cooking session with other young adults
  • Step-by-step guidance as we prepare and pack meals together
  • A shared lunch served on the day
  • Time to connect while doing something practical and meaningful
  • A tangible impact: meals delivered the same day to people who need them

No cooking experience is needed. just come ready to get involved, meet new people, and be part of something meaningful and hands-on.

We’d love to have you there.
