Sydney Jewish Writers Festival, powered by Shalom, returns from 23 – 27 August 2023. We welcome you to explore our theme of ‘Identity’.

Headlining the event will be the inimitable David Baddiel, British comedian, author, screenwriter, and television presenter. Explore the Sydney Jewish Writers Festival program with three streams of exceptional writers, poets, musicians, playwrights, comedians and thinkers who promise to challenge us to explore our identity in all its facets. Books offer us the framework to converse, commune, and create. We invite you to bring your curiosity, your ideas and your voice to the conversation and our festival.
